Prayers against the ruin of the Earth and humanity, meant for the ear of God. The clang of ruination shaped to set the feet of angels dancing.

This is the guide I wrote while I was working on this EP:

"I make songs.
These are human songs to delight angels.

Songs like these begin in chance.
Chance is the footwork of angels.

Songs like these begin in curiosity
Curiosity combines listening and joy.

I craft on shadows--hints of melody, harmony, and rhythm.
These are the principles of organization.
These are the weights and gravities of song.

I act on the principle of subtraction
Uncovering the organization of the song.

I craft on silence.
Silence is the lifting and leaps of the angel’s feet.

As a sculpture considers the space and approach to her statue,
I move, I seek a second side to the organization.

For establishment and change are the poles of creation.
The song finds itself in new organizations.

When I discover a second side,
I see the first with new light."
